The word Arsha means that which is from the Rishis – the great sages of ancient India.
The word Vidya means knowledge.
Tirtham is the place where people go and become purified through spiritual sadhana.
In the same way, Arsha Vidya tirtha is a Tirtha, where people come and get knowledge of the scripture of great heritage ( Vedas, Bhagvada Gita, prakarana granthas ,Tattvabodha , Panchadasi, Upanishads along with the Shankara Bhashyam ) and through that knowledge people becomes purified.
Nitya Puja, Pradosha Puja is performed regularly at AVT !
Major hindu festivals are celebrated with full enthusiasm by devotees & children !
